Victorino from Teso La Monja is an iconic red wine from the Toro DO, made from 100% Tinta de Toro sourced from old, low-yielding vines. After maturing for approximately 20 months in new French oak barrels, the result is a wine that impressively combines power, concentration, and refinement.
In the glass, Victorino displays a deep ruby-red color. The bouquet is intense and complex, with aromas of blackcurrants, ripe plums, and cassis, complemented by notes of violets, cocoa, licorice, vanilla, spices, and a subtle mineral touch. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and silky, with a powerful structure, perfectly ripe tannins, and an exceptionally long, elegant finish.
