The Bouché family business has existed for four generations and has grown into a beautiful, stately Champagne house in Epernay today. Bouché produces an average of 200,000 bottles per year.
The Champagne of Bouché Père & Fils traces its origins back to Abel Bouché in 1920. At that time, the family owned about 2.5 hectares located directly behind the house. The son of the elder Bouché rapidly expanded the brand in the period after 1945.
Today, grapes are grown on 30 hectares of land, primarily the Chardonnay grape, with a number of hectares even bearing the premier cru designation. The house has its own Champagne cellars, which lie as deep as 10 meters beneath the house. All Bouché Père & Fils Champagnes are aged in the bottle for at least three years before they are sold.
Today, Nicolas Bouché is at the helm of the stately Champagne house, bringing his energetic vision to the Champagne business.
