Domaine de la Garenne
This family estate is located in the village of Verdigny, in the heart of the renowned Sancerre region. The soil here is characterized by the famous white "caillottes," a calcareous clay that gives the wines their characteristic minerality.
The vineyards are perfectly situated and benefit optimally from the sun. The Reverdy family has owned the Domaine de la Garenne for three generations and operates with respect for nature. Over the years, modern winemaking techniques have also been introduced here: the Sancerres first undergo a cold maceration, followed by low-temperature fermentation in double-walled stainless steel tanks.
The wines of Domaine de la Garenne excel in freshness and have a striking fruity and floral character.
