The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Superiore from Giusti Wine is an impressive and grand red wine from the hills of the classic Valpolicella region. Made from the traditional grape varieties Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, and Rondinella, this Amarone perfectly reflects the power and elegance of the Venetian terroir. The grapes are carefully hand-selected and dried for several months according to the classic appassimento method, which intensifies aromas, sugars, and concentration.
The wine has a deep ruby red color with garnet hues and entices with rich aromas of dried fruit, plums, Amarena cherries, and ripe cherries, complemented by notes of licorice, pepper, and subtle spiciness. On the palate, it is full-bodied, warm, and powerful, yet simultaneously elegant thanks to its soft tannins and excellent balance. The long finish displays complexity and finesse.
After aging for approximately 24 to 28 months in oak barrels, followed by bottle aging, this Amarone develops extra depth and refinement.
