The Augusto Recantina from Giusti Wine is a unique red wine from the Asolo Montello DOC in Veneto, made from the rare and indigenous Recantina grape. This ancient variety, once favored by the Venetian nobility and later nearly extinct, was brought back to life by Giusti as a pure expression of the Montello terroir.
The wine has a bright, deep ruby red color and entices with aromas of plum, cassis, and red fruit, complemented by elegant floral notes of violets and cyclamen, a hint of musk, and a subtle mineral touch reminiscent of fresh earth. On the palate, it is soft and velvety, with refined tannins, a nice freshness, and a long, harmonious finish.
