100% Tempranillo (locally: Tinto Fino). This vintage is made exclusively from grapes from pre-phylloxera vines and has been aged for 16 months in French oak barrels, 40% of which were new.
Intense aromas of red and black fruit, thyme, lavender, and rosemary against a backdrop of mineral chalk, characteristic of the calcareous rocky soils in the Atauta valley. Full-bodied and rich on the palate, with an elegant freshness.
