This Cuvée Armande is a special cuvée created as a tribute to Armande Douhairet, the iconic owner of the estate who was affectionately known by everyone as “La Miss”.
This red Burgundy, made from 100% Pinot Noir, displays an elegant ruby-red color. The nose reveals refined aromas of red cherries, raspberries, and wild strawberries, complemented by subtle floral notes of violets and a light spiciness. With some aging, nuances of cedarwood, spices, and fine earthy tones also develop.
On the palate, the wine combines finesse with depth. The fruit is pure and juicy, supported by silky-smooth tannins and a lovely freshness typical of the Monthélie appellation. The finish is elegant and harmonious, with a beautiful balance between fruit, structure, and terroir expression.
