Susumaniello
As its name suggests, the Susco Susumaniello Salento is made from the Susumaniello grape, one of the rarest, most ancient grape varieties in the world, which until recently was nearly extinct. This unique grape is only planted in the heel of Italy, in Salento (Puglia), where San Marzano crafts it into a magnificent wine. The Susco Susumaniello Salento has an intense ruby red color and is aged for 6 months in oak barrels. The wine features a bouquet of fruity and floral aromas, with notes of dried herbs and a touch of balsamic. The wine possesses good structure with fine elegance and acidity.
